Trimtex
I was first introduced to Trimtex from a friend who lives in the UK. At the time, I was looking for a quality apparel company that can do custom cycling apparel for a reasonable price. The Black Hills State University Women’s Triathlon team was looking for cycling jerseys and other custom items they could wear and sell for fundraising for the team. While chatting with a sales rep regarding the cycling jerseys I scrolled through Trimtex website fascinated by all their warm weather clothing. I have had a hard time finding quality warm weather workout gear that can be used for more than just one sport. I wanted a warm jacket I could wear cycling, skiing, and running and thermal pants that were equally as versatile. Even though it was March in Wyoming, we still had a few more months of cold weather and dodgy spring snow storms and I was tired of biking inside so I started adding items to a shopping cart!
I purchased their thermal cycling pants, thermal cycling shorts, thermal cycling jacket, compression socks, running socks, and a cheap high vis cycling kit. The company is located in Norway and shortly after I placed the order Norway went in lockdown due to COVID-19 so I figured I would receive my order in May yet I only had to wait two weeks! First impression of the items is they felt warm, thick, and were quality items. I have worn the thermal cycling pants Nordic skiing and cycling and they are extremely warm! They are meant to be put on over a layer so they are a tad loose fitting but when they are pulled over cycling bibs or another layer of spandex they fit perfect. The thermal bibs I purchased were already on the sale rack and they did not have small so I purchased a medium. The medium are a little big on me but I don’t mind, I could not pass up a deal! The cycling jacket is so far the most versatile item I bought, and it was on sale! Win Win. It has been perfect for skiing, running, cycling, and grocery story shopping.
Overall I am very happy with all my purchases from Trimtex and in my next order I plan on purchasing items for my husband, shoe covers, sports bras, and other items I “need” on clearance!
