Tri Hard Skin Care
I came upon Tri Hard probably by spending too much time on Instagram! Tri Hard is a skin care and hair care company that specializes in skin and hair care products for swimmers and triathletes. After chatting with the company and inquiring about their products they sent me some to try! Unfortunately, I was not able to test their products on chlorine drenched hair and skin due to receiving the starter kit after the pools closed down due to COVID-19 so the below is review is based on dirty hair and skin after biking and running on gravel roads and trails!
I sampled Tri Hard’s shampoo, facial wash, and body wash for a consecutive week before writing this review. I had been using the same shampoo consecutively for a few months and I was not enjoying it but I bought the big bottles so I had to keep using the set. By the time I started using the shampoo from Tri Hard my hair was feeling pretty disgusting and not getting clean with my current shampoo. Instantly my hair felt a lot more clean the next day and the oil in my hair was stripped out yet my hair did not feel dry. There is very little humidity in Wyoming and the wind is always blowing so dry hair and skin is common. I was a little hesitant about using the Tri Hard products due to them being able to strip chlorine I was afraid that they would make my hair and skin very dry but that was not the case. I did not experience any extra hair or skin dryness, static, or cracking while using the products. The body and face wash are my favorite and I find the menthol very refreshing after a hard day of workouts.
Overall, I really like the Tri Hard products, the companies mission, and that the products have been developed by athletes. They have a breakdown of ingredients on their website you can read more about and they have a blog sections for triathlon and swimming related articles. The starter kit size bottles are under three fluid ounces making them perfect for traveling on a plane or going in your swim bag. Once the pools open back up I and I am able to properly test the products out in chloride drenched skin and hair I will update this page!
