Body Systems
Body Systems is a womanly-owned business in Rapid City, South Dakota that specializes in skin and body care products that are sustainable and cruelty free. I have been using their products for some time and I forget how I came upon their company. This review is going to be a little different than most, most reviews I review a individual product or service but with Body Systems I have tried many of their products and I would be typing and you would be reading all day if I reviewed all their products! I am going to review only my two favorite products and most used products out of the dozen or so I have tried. I recommend going on their website and browsing around and if you have any questions about any of their product their founder Teri is very fast to respond.
Shampoo Bar– This is the first dry shampoo bar I have tried so my opinion might be skewed! My first thought about dry shampoo bars is there is no way they can last much longer than a bar of soap. I was pleasantly surprised to be proven wrong! I am not sure how many times I have used the tea tree and lavender bar but it is still almost like new! I pack this bar with me camping and to the gym for a quick wash up after a workout and I do not have to rub it long on my head before I get a “lather” of soap formed. It comes in a simple reusable bag, which conveniently keeps the soap bar contained, and not soaping up all my cloths.
Shower Infusers– I have tired all three of the shower infuser kinds, citrus and ginger, lavender and bergamot, and mint and rosemary. To be far, I do not have a favorite of the three, they are all very nice. You just drop a little pod in the shower while you are in there and the essential oils release a calm relaxing aroma. The pods last for either a long shower or two shorter showers, usually there is still some of the pod left by the time my husband gets in the shower. These will be one of the top Christmas presents I give this year!
